Sue’s book The War on Women had a dual launch in both London and Edinburgh following its publication on August 11th.
We kicked celebrations off at the 2016 Edinburgh Book Festival. Hosted by journalist and television presenter Kirsty Wark, this public event took place at the Festival’s Writers Retreat venue in Edinburgh’s Charlotte Square Gardens. Two weeks later we were at the stunning Google UK HQ for the London launch hosted by BBC’s Chief International Correspondent, Lyse Doucet.
The crowds at both events watched a short documentary on Sue’s life followed by a short talk by past colleagues, who recalled some of her more outrageous adventures.
